Hi All,

I hope you all had a very good New Year.

Hi Sheila,

Thank you for the Birthday wishes. Yes I know it is very strange how the birth dates worked out, but it is nice as we get together and open our gifts from each other at the same time...Magic :D

However, the weirdness doesn't end there!!!!! One of my other Son's birthday is 30th November, his name is Andrew, for obvious reasons   And wait for it, we are not done yet! Two of my younger sisters were born on the 30th day of different months and the elder of my young sisters Janice, was born on the 31st of October, we called her the Witch again for obvious reasons    God Bless her, no longer with us. :( :(

Take care partner.

Hi John
Had a great New Year thank you. Had planned a quiet night in with hubby, a few drinks and the TV, however my neighbour phoned and coaxed us into going in to their party. Well all I can say is John, never again will I say Canadians don't know how to party. When we went in and saw my neighbour up dancing in the middle of the floor by herself and singing into a hairbrush, I just knew it was going to be a right laugh and it was. Then we had the kids and their kids for dinner New Years day, so a good time was had by all. Please tell Ingrid her partners partner says Happy New Year!

Isn't it strange how certain dates keep revolving in our lives?
Your son being born on November 30th is a date in common with me. That's our wedding anniversary and this one is a big one coming up. My father-in-law many years ago gave me a book of poetry that had been given to him by his Dad. Their was an inscription on it to my FIL and it was dated November 30th! My daughter got married on the 30th of a different month. That is really something with all the dates in your family. Your poor sister getting called the witch because of her birthday, hope she took it in good fun. :o God rest her soul. It must be great celebrating with your son and grandson and opening your gifts together. My daughter and I's birthdays are two days apart. I kid her on that I never had a birthday for 26 years until she got married and moved out as it was always all about her. The number 6 keeps appearing in my life, sometimes not for great reasons but it continues to be significant for some reason or another.
Sounds like you have a lovely family John and it also sounds like as in our family there is a lot of laughter and great humour, long may it continue.
All the best to you and yours for 2014. Cheers, Sheila
