Can anyone tell me what was the name of the next street after Gilmour st [looking towards Cumberland st] it was here if my memory seves me right there was "the pen" which led through to Sandyfauld st and St Francis Chapel.

Thanks pal I wizzny sure was it Mathieston st or Moffat st, ach I suppose we're all getting on a wee bit now. I always remember Gilmour st as it had a smooth road surface for us weans to skate on or push our "boggies" on. I left Glasgow in 1968 Eddie , what about yourself mate ?. 'am glad the site is up and running again, thanks for your reply.
