Hi Folk, sorry I have been not been posted for a while
I have been busy posting holiday photos and scanning all the old Gorbals photos for a contact who will be doing a book about Gorbals
I may have to enlist your help in IDing a lot of new Gorbals photos that he has given me

Another friend of mine has submitted his book about Gorbals to Richard Stenlake, I will keep you posted when its published, the photos are from 70s Gorbals while the other ones are from late 50s early 60s

Hi Norrie glad you've been kept busy keeps the mind from getting addled
If you need any help I'm sure plenty on here will help you, pity you couldn't get a photo of my old street Salisbury St. Anyway keep the good work up as I'm sure people from the Gorbals will appreciate what you and your friends are doing.
Let us know when it comes out from the press, my better half isn't doing to grand with his books on the kindle but I keep telling him it's early days who knows.

Hope you're keeping well, yes I'm looking forward to that new book that Norrie mentioned and 'am also sure people here on Gorbals Anecdotes will be able to help him to ID the places. Sorry to hear your Husbands book[s] on Kindle aren't doing too well but as you say it's early days, I haven't got a Kindle yet [will get one in the future]. This Kindle seems to be the thing of the future where people can download these E-BOOKS straight on to their Kindle [at a price an awful lot cheaper than paperback books]. My own autobiography is on paperback and E-BOOK form but I would say most people who have bought a copy of my book have opted for the paper back as opposed to the E-BOOK version so tell your husband to keep thinking positive but I think it's all down to promoting his book [or any book]. Maybe he could get a few flyers printed and handed round to people or maybe in a few bars where they have a notice board. I wish him well maybe you could post on here the name[s] of his book[s].

Just like to add my best wishes with your book and if it contains some of the old pictures
that we have been getting of late then we are in for a great walk down memory lane.
I am sure like others on the site have bought a few copies of Danny's book <two copies for gifts
for family/friends > I thoroughly recommend it. Once again Good Luck with your Projectand
I will be watching out for it.
