Unable to reply to messages in 2013

Post by braveheart »

Hi All,

I hope you all had a very good New Year.

Just tried to get back to answer some outstanding replies I had to make on 2013 forum but unfortunately it is locked now, which I can understand as it is a new year. I know there were some of your posts to me in particular that required some feedback from me but I'm unable to reply, so many apologies to you all especially Sheila and Amelia.......I'm gutted

Take care.

Hi John you can now get into the 2013 messages, I had tried yesterday but couldn't open them but the admin must have been working overtime to let us view them many thanks to the good job they have done since they started back the site and I hope they all had a great new year, but it's back to the grind now and I hope that some old and new will come back on again.
So don't be shy, everyone who reads the messages but doesn't participate on answering we don't bite on here
Had 4 numbers up again in the lottery John :D but it only paid £73 but if it carries on like this I'll be going about Castlemilk with my hat on

Hello John,

Sorry about the not being able to respond directly to messages from the previous year. In order tae keep things within the same calendar year then you can start a fresh thread/discussion on the same subject in this year.
You can copy and paste any relevant quotes or info from the earlier years and develop the conversation form there.
Hope this is ok.
We would not want to be causing unnecessary inconvenience for people but it will allow us to keep things well organised and hopefully easier for folk to reference.

Again if you require support at all then let me know.

All the very best for now

Well done Amelia, you are getting closer to those elusive 6 numbers + bonus, I hope it happens for you one day it would be great to be pals with a millionaire

Yes you are right about the admin team, they work hard for our pleasure and I'm very grateful to them.

Take care.

Hi Anthony,

Thank you for your message, I completely understand the logic you have described and I appreciate your help. I will follow your advice and begin a new thread on some of last year's ongoing subjects.

Many thanks to you and the rest of the team.

Take care.

Don't know if you managed to get into one of my last postings of 2013 but the other day I was sitting on the computer and bumped up google and bumped in my brother-in-law address in England and low and behold his street and his house was in front of me so I thought about your wee house in Blaeloch as I haven't managed to go round there and take a photo as the weather here has been murder rain and winds so I googled it and there your wee hoose came up. Don't know if you have tried this before so I thought I would let you know, hope you and the family had a nice new year.

Hi Amelia,
Yes a few months ago I done the same as you on Google and could see the house, looked a bit messy though, plus I could move the camera in different directions up and down the street, how clever. A few years ago one of my young Sisters gave me a framed photo of the house, which sits proudly on my window sill where I can see it every day :) :)

We had a good new year thanks Amelia, just my better half and I at home, that's the way we prefer it, having a couple of glasses of malt whisky along with some Dundee cake, madeira cake and some shortbread while watching BBC Scotland :D :D :D Old habits die hard I'm afraid   I hope you and your family had a good one also Amelia. Don't forget those lottery numbers tonight it's a quadruple rollover :) :) Good luck.

Take care.

Hi John and all the gang

Happy New year to all of you, may the year ahead be happy, healthy and prosperous for everyone.

Seems I missed a big day for you John (partner) so happy belated birthday to you, your son and Grandson. Amazing that you all share the same birthday!

I had also googled your old address John and mentioned to my friend what a mess it looked, she said that must be an old photo and before they were all done up because it's not a mess now. So that was nice to hear.

Will look forward to you re-starting some of the old threads on here.

Cheers, Sheila

Hi Amelia

I have a hat I could send you Amelia, I bought it for William and Kate's wedding then my invite got lost in the post so I didn't attend.

Anyway that's great you had another win, as my wee Dad used to say "you're chappin at the door, you'll get the big one up any day now" Wouldn't that be great? I would love for that to happen to you.

Thank you for your good wishes for Christmas, it all went well but then had to do it all again New Years day. Told my hubby I'm running out of space at the big table, maybe next year I'll have to run two tables into the lounge, he said "why don't we just run to their (my kids) houses instead?

Anyway Amelia don't forget your freens when you hit the jackpot okay?

All the best, Sheila

Hi Sheila,

Thank you for the Birthday wishes. Yes I know it is very strange how the birth dates worked out, but it is nice as we get together and open our gifts from each other at the same time...Magic :D

However, the weirdness doesn't end there!!!!! One of my other Son's birthday is 30th November, his name is Andrew, for obvious reasons   And wait for it, we are not done yet! Two of my younger sisters were born on the 30th day of different months and the elder of my young sisters Janice, was born on the 31st of October, we called her the Witch again for obvious reasons    God Bless her, no longer with us. :( :(

Take care partner.
