Hi Everyone thought I'd put in a wee snippet, do you all remember Larkfield garage well it has been moved down on the grounds in Cathcart right across from Greek Thompsom church in Caledonia Rd.
The drivers change buses across from where the weighing station was were the lorries came to be weighed The wee hoose was between Cathcart Rd and Hospital Rd. I always remember going into the shop in Hospital St. to buy a "penny Vantas" we all thought it was brilliant, imagine giving the kids one of these they'd laugh at you. Plenty of changes but are they for the best??
