I have a photo of my brother taken in the playground of St Johns school around 1948/9. I have scanned it but my head cannot get 'round to putting it on here as maybe some of the "oldies" are in it
Can anyone help usually no bad at doing things but don't know if the brain is too addled now.

Re: photo of St Johns boys school Clelland St. around 1949?
Amelia, I copied this from the FAQs:
» Can I post images?
Yes, images can be shown in your posts. If the administrator has allowed attachments, you may be able to upload the image to the board. Otherwise, you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.example.com/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor images stored behind authentication mechanisms, e.g. hotmail or yahoo mailboxes, password protected sites, etc. To display the image use the BBCode [img] tag.
Looks like you'll have to upload the Photo to somewhere like Flickr or another site , then you can just click on Img at the top in the black oblong box and put the URL (link) in between the two Img's that will appear in your text box.

Amelia you should also have received an email from "The Management" explaining how it works!!
Re: photo of St Johns boys school Clelland St. around 1949?
Amelia, I don't use or like Facebook, but I believe you can upload Photos to your page there, if so, you merely have to copy and paste the link to the photo between the two Img's.

Amelia, if the Photo is now on a web site you have to copy and paste the link in between the two Img's which will appear in your text AFTER you click on the IMG rectangle next to the URL rectangle.

Amelia, my mistake, Anthony didn't send you an email, he sent you a PM, you should click on "new messages up above and beside your screen name. It's the second Black box above this page.

Amelia, you can't post a pic from your own computer, you have to UPLOAD it to a site that hosts photos, like Flickr or even Facebook first!
