Me and my sister used to sing that song (3 wee craws) to all the grandweans they all thought we were daft or as you used to say a tanner short of a shilling.

I was listening to the other video when Billy Connelly started yolding you never hear anyone doing that now it used to be a great party piece for the people that could do it.

Another thing were are all the whistlers you never hear that either even the "workies" don't whistle after all the good looking girls but they would be doing it all day as I think all the young lassies are lovely whether it's their style of clothes that makes them look good I don't know.
Hope you all had a lovely Easter.

Still Off Topic - and especially for Amelia!

Takeo Ischi is/was quite popular and famous in Switzerland and Germany he sings in German and yodels in Japanese (lol)

Edit: BTW Hendl is the Austro-Bavarian word for "chicken", most commonly in its roasted form. Paprika Hendl is mentioned in Bram Stoker's Dracula, as a dish enjoyed by J. Harker who wishes to get the recipe for his wife to be Mina.
Here endeth the edit.

 Connoisseurs of yodeling will tell you Amelia, that the Japanese can't pronounce "R" they use "L" instead! That's why it sounds so authentic! Listen again!!!

Edit: and if you believe that, you'll believe anything!!
