Anecdote We used to live at 100 Camden Street above the pub and opposite the new St Francis Primary (Blackfriars), I am looking for any information and especially photos of the area and the O'Neill family from around 1960/67. We moved to Pollok, family of Nettie, Edward O'Neill, sons, Edward, Brian, Joseph and myself, David, the wean! Would love to hear from any old friends of the family or long lost relatives to patch up some missing history. Also looking for info on The Jeffrey family from Surrey Lane and the O'Neills of Cavendish St.

Anecdote Still looking for any more information on my grandfather Rev. John Cameron Peddie a respected well known faith healer that ministered out of the Hutchesontown Parish Church that is now gone. Anecdote clelland, James Watson born 1900, father Nicol mother Jane McCaffrey, lived in Abbotsford Place, Aitkenhead Rd, , Calder Rd, Nicol was a Lithogrpaher My Dad James had 7 siblings, John, Owen, Nicol, Isabella, Mary, Mathew and Alexander. I would love to find out which school my dad went to. All I know is that he was employed by Wiggins Teape in 1919 then joined the Air Force. I know this is a long shot but if anyone can remember the Clelland family I would really appreciate hearing from you.

Anecdote Doing some research into the family and my grand uncle owned/worked in a pub in the gorbals in the 30s/40s/50s? Not sure exact dates but he was Irish, name Cornelius Byrne and his sister Teresa worked with him. They also seemed to have known a Mrs Heaney who lived at 122 Hospital st. Any info much appreciated.

Anecdote I was born at 197 Thistle Street, my dad was Joe Mcguigan and my mam was Stella. My dad had a wee shop in Cumberland Street just facing the Havana Bar. It was a newsagent/ tobacconist, but you could always get a wee half if you wanted it, always free. Does anyone have any memories of it.

Anecdote Hi, im hoping someone will be able to help me... im looking for anyone who knew my dad or grandparents. My dad is David Scott and he had a brother Alan and sister Marion. My grandparents were Alan Scott and Elizabeth (known as Betty) her maiden name was Harkness. they lived in the Caledonia Flats and my dad went to Hayfield secondary (i think). Im trying to find my dads old friends or people who knew him and his siblings when they were growing up as my dad is 45 this month and i think it would be a nice surprise if i can find his old school friends. I'd also like to know more about my grandad as he died when i was very young... i know he worked as a plasterer but i dont know much else. Any help would be greatly appreciated x
