Special Day For Me Today

Just got back from my Grandson's ( Ethan ) 6th birthday which is always very special as it's my son's ( Toby ) and My birthday today as well....How's that eh!

Hello John,
Happy Birthday to you and your Grandson and hope you both have a good one .It seems
unfair that you have to celebrate twice in the same day but I feel sure that you will make the most of it .
I also can understand when you posted about going back into a house that you used to live in all
those years ago . I have also driven past an old house that I used to live in but somehow never had the
courage to knock on the door and say I lived here 55 years ago . ???
The 31stDec. was my parents Wedding Anniversary and they met originally outside the Grant Arms
during the War Years 1939-45. She worked at the "Munitions Factory " at Bishopton along with
33000 women yes all women and it was a very dangerous place . ironically i do not know who was at the
highest risk of surviving as my father was running the gauntlet of the German U-Boats and did in fact get
hit but got to the Lifeboats and lived to tell the tale.??
Anyway have a great night with all your family and especially treasure the time with Etan'

Hi John Happy Birthday to you and your wee grandson I hope you had a great time.
I was having a lazy day today sitting doing nothing so I came onto the computer and was goggling different places and house that my family lived I an I thought about you and goggled your old home and there it was in front of me on the computer. Did you stay at the gable end of the building?
This day is not too good for me as it my dads anniversary. I hope you and all your family have a lovely time and "Aw Ra Best" for 2014 to you all

Hi Reg,

Yes it was a nice day for me, it was a triple celebration as I said in my post it was not just me but Son and Grandson also, a bit special really, three generations all born on the same date in December! I also share something with you Reg which is strange I know, it is my wedding anniversary today also!

Running out of time at the moment Reg, so will have to get back to you later, its 10.39 and I'm being told my steak pie is ready
