Hi Anthony hope you all had a good new year and are all ready for this years postings. What I'd like to ask first of all is that I got a personal message from Danny (Hope he is not going to ask me for a blind date)

Personal Messages (PM) will only come via the forums. When you have logged in then you should get a notification that there is a PM waiting for you which you should then just click on. This way should be perfectly secure and safe.
As for who the oldest then unfortunately people have not generally put in their dates of birth so I have no way of knowing. If people did put their date of birth in their profile then it would be good for folk to be able to know and so extend our good wishes to them. Such questions occur in my mind also as I scan through messages and wonder at the lives that so many people have experienced and how the world has changed over the last 50 to 75 years or more.
If people put in their dates of birth then the their birthday would be highlighted as part of the forum also.
I look forward to reading more from the existing characters and so welcoming any as yet untapped sources of Gorbals stories.
Look forward to the year ahead and trying to move things on a bit more.

Just wanted to wish you and Family Best Wishes for 2014 and thank you very much for all the great work that the admin do in Gorbals anecdotes it does mean a lot to us all and thank you once again Tony. That's a good idea about our birth dates my own birthday is January 11th, so won't be long till I'm having a wee celebration drink lol.
