Search for family!

Hi everyone, this is my first post on here so please bear with me!

Me and my family are currently trying to locate a Scottish family member of ours and to date have been very unsuccessful. Would anyone on here be able to help? My grandfather was born and raised in the gorbals his name was Peter Gardner ( born 1919). Peter was the son of Helen (nee Boyle) and he had one brother Danny Gardner (1921). They eventually moved to Glamis Road at Parkhead. We are trying to locate Danny. He was last seen by his Irish relatives during the summer of 1982 and has not been in contact since! I am currently researching my family tree and to date have done well, obtaining info from as far back as 1812 yet am at a loss as to where Danny may be. Danny if still living would be 92 years old. Can anyone help???? Thank you, Erin x

Hi Erin if you relative was still living h might be on the voters roll but I am not sure how you go about doing this and I am not sure if the libraries could you. I don't know if the have a votes roll but it is worth trying to find out.
A lot of Parkhead is being demolished due to the Commonwealth games
