Hi John welcome to the Gorbals site.
My husband and cousins all went St Lukes but he went to Holyrood they stayed in Commercial Rd. left when the Gorbals was being demolished. There was a McManus stayed up the pen in Commercial Rd any connection? There was a Robert and Isa

Hya John,
Welcome to the site m8, was a great time to grow up but I'm a fair bit older than you , I was born in 1948 and went to wee Bonnies then big Bonnies, in fact my Ma and Da's back window looked into big Bonnies playground . I see your surname is Mc Manus, there was an Owen [Oni] McManus in my class in wee and big Bonnies [think he lives in Australia now] wonder if he;s a cousin of yours John ?.
Regards.
Danny
