Just thought I'd kick start the new year by wishing all the users the best of wishes for the coming year.
Hopefully this year we may see further members joining up. It would be great tae read more from more people.
Look forward to developing things further after a quiet year in terms of activity of contributions and enhancements to the forums.

There are over 200 registered users on the forum which is not bad considering its not really promoted as such. It would be great to hear from more of them.
There are of course loads who visit the site and read through whats been written. This will be the fifteenth year of the anecdotes so its a lot of memories and a lot of people.
All the very best tae you and your family and hope maybe to try and spur on some discussions myself in the coming year. I have generally left it to others but there are things I could ask also.

Happy New Year to the Anthony and all the rest of the admin, they have been really trying hard to bring our site back to what it used to be.
I haven't been on it as much as usual as I have been through a terrible time the last few weeks near the end of the year.
My young sister has been taken into the Vicky every week for the past 6 weeks they fix her up and put her back out again but she goes away back as bad as ever, then my hubbys brother has been out and in Gartnavel hospital but he is 89 and then on the 21 Dec. my son died with a massive heart attack he only got buried on Monday there 5th. I've been saying is there a God as my son never done a bad thing and he worked all the time infact I think he worked to hard so his job will have to get on without him which they will.
At the moment I feel so bitter about everything but I am only hoping this will pas through time as I don't like feeling this way. I'll sign off just now and maybe I'll be able to come back on in the near future so everyone take care of yourselves as life is sweet and precious

To Amelia I am so sorry for you and your husband on the loss of your son, how terrible for you both. Please accept my deepest condolences and may your son rest in peace. Also may it help you just a little bit to know that I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.
I also hope your sister and brother in law have now made a full recovery.
What you're feeling Amelia is perfectly normal and it will take you time to accept the loss of your son. Please take care of yourself and your husband, and hopefully you will feel up to visiting on here again in the near future.
