Looking for Dad's lost Family

Hi,Further to my previous post another question if I may, my Dad was born in Prestwick 1918, sadly he passed October 2013 five days short of his 95th birthday.Knowing this has no bearing on the "GORBALS" as such but I am looking for direction were I can start to track down my Dad's family members.Can anyone help.
