Hi Danny,DannyGill wrote:Hi Amelia+Shelia+gang,
Hi Amelia I sent you a private message on 30th December [just before all the N'eerday celebrations started], it was only to say that I remembered Dirty Maggie's beside Greasy Peter's chip shop and I believe you could also "swap" comics in there too ?, I remember going in there one day with my school pal Dennis Smith who live round the corner in Moffat st, well he saw an American comic [DEL] and 9d was the price marked on it but he turned the comic upside down to show 6d and that's all he paid for it, of course it was cheating but as weans I think we must have all "pulled a few strokes". Well Amelia I have been having a good drink since the Bells, yesterday [Sunday] I went on the wagon to dry out ha ha. I usually have a few beers most days in my wee flat while reading or watching a bit of TV but went a bit crazy from the N'eerday [as I usually do] that's why I hadn't posted the last week but as I say I'm on the dry now until this Saturday when it's my birthday and whaahayyyyy ha ha. So no need to worry but thanks for your concern and I do hope that you all had a great Hogmanay/N'eerday thank God it's only once a year ha ha, Take care gang and Best Wishes for 2014.
Regards.

Here in New Jersey we are in for another "as the weather man calls it...Artic Vortex" meaning it is going to be so cold again tomorrow and for the rest of the week..." But I would still rather have this than the heat of the summer when it gets about 90 degs. F. Hope you had a good birthday..![]()
