I am now an American citizen so I do not think I can vote and from what I hear and read in the newspapers from home on the Internet, I do not think I would vote "Yes." Too many unanswered questions about social security, pensions and paying for medicines...Unless I absolutely knew what was being offered up front I would hesitate...Look what happened to us with Obama...I used to take a medicine, that I take once a day, and have been doing so for years and years...My husband's medical plan dropped paying their plan and put us on another plan for medicines and doctors. So the last time I needed a refill for the pills I used to pay $25.00 for it would not cost me $500.00 for the same ninety...This particular drug now can be bought over-the-counter for $25.00 for 45 of them..only half the strength so I finished up buying them...So my take on it is...sometimes it is better to stick with the devil you know than the devil you don't know.

Off my soapbox now..
On my holidays at the NJ shore, Glorious.

Hya Margaret,
I hope you enjoy your holiday in NJ , we're having a mixed batch of weather here in London with good weather and then the occasional wet day [like today , wet and overcast]. Well it won't be long till the refferendum here, I can't vote but if I could I would certainly vote Yes, Scotland in my personal view would do so much better off being Independant, why should Scotland not be an Independant Country cow=towing to England. I fully understand what you mean about "charges" of meds etc Margaret and people being unsure of what's on offer but I have looked into this and I'm so totally sure that we would be better off on our own but others may disagree and that's perfectaly OK in my book. Won't be long till the vote now Margaret so we wait with bated breath. Right that's me off for now so I will say cheerio for now God Bless you and all the Family . x

Hi Amelia, Danny, Reg and gang
Sorry I haven't been on for quite a while, thought I would post a wee update on my husband. He is doing much better, it's been a very long road but as severe as his injuries were could have been so much worse so feel blessed about that. Still has a way to go but he is keeping a positive attitude.
Wanted to wish Amelia and her husband belated Anniversary wishes and belated Happy Birthday to Reg too. Hope this finds everyone on here well. All the best Sheila :)

Hi Danny
Thanks so much for your kind words. Things going in a positive direction for hubby slowly but surely so we are all very grateful for that. Feel so fortunate when I look at the terrible times some people are experiencing, so as the old saying goes "always someone worse off than yourself" It's so true. Take care of yourself Danny and all the best to you. Cheers, Sheila :)
