Not sure why you researched this or felt the need for the quote.

The Kind Man I frequented was back in 1969 and the early 70's, so over 40 years ago, long before any review could be looked up on the internet. Happy to say that I nor the hundreds of other customers had no such negative experiences instead we enjoyed the great bands and great people, oh and that included the great staff. Quite frankly your post is offensive and feels like a personal attack and as it's not the first time you have offended or insulted someone on here it's now becoming annoying. If you don't like what I'm writing about e.g.: Kenny Miller, The Clutha, The Kind Man, DON'T READ IT![/quote]
Hi Sheila,
I agree with everything you said. Like you I used to use the pub back in the same time frame, so I guess we must have bumped in to each other at some stage you know! I was just married in 1969 and my wife and I lived in Carfin St for a couple of years, so we used to go to the pub every weekend, the music and the people were great, we always had a good time there. In fact the band that played there used to play all the latest hit songs and we used to persuade them to play " Take the ribbon from my hair " and you wont believe it, every time we walked in the door they would play that song for us without having to request it.....
Magic!!!!
Take care,
