I can only remember Anns Fry ''Note Spelling'' when it was part of the shopping Area at the bottom of Cumberland Arcade, And that was in the early 1970's. They did however have another shop on Abercromby St in The Calton Area of the East End.

I seen this book advertised in the urbanglasgow web pages, It'll be a good look at the pictures and see who I can remember from the Era that style forgot. Long Black Hair, Wrangler Denims and Jackets, Simon Shirts, Arthur Black shirts, Crombie coats, Doc Martins and Polo Neck Sweaters. Luv it.

The Putting Greens in Richmond Park are long gone, There's houses built on the ground where the Greens once where. Regarding Queens Park, It's a Pitch and Putt course they have, which is on the Langside Rd end of the park.

This shop was under the bridge in Cleland St. If my memory serves me well He was a Grey haired Man who wore glasses and I think he had a turn in his eye. Not only did he sell Roasted Salted Peanuts, He sold Coconut Ice and Macaroon Bars. I remember going to the shop after coming out of the Gorbals ...

Wow, that's some picture of the notorious Hutchie e blocks, I'm surmising it was taken from Stirlingfauld Place Heights. I lived at 221 Crown St and looking at that photo i can see my old bedroom window.

I don't remember if there was music every night at The Clelland Bar. Trampas i'm sure played on a Saturday night and they were very good.

I used to live facing 200 Sandiefield Road flats in the damp houses on Crown St, I had a paper run after school way back in the 70's and had a lot of customers in both Sandiefield flats. kept me fit running up ...

[youtube][/youtube] I spent my formative years being taken to Richmond Park by my parents and Wider family members. The Rockery,The Cricket Pitch, The Ducksy,The Boats and playing football. I've got loads of photos of Oatlands on a disk but i don't know how to post them on this forum.

Did anyone use the Clelland music lounge in 1967/8 ish, the resident singing group was the Diplomats on a Friday night, ah the music was great then, sitting down with your wife/girlfriend and getting waitress service at your table, magic
